FAQ

What is The Lost Hotel?

A cozy, pixel-art adventure game in which you take on the role of the hotelier in a mysterious hotel spaceship trapped in an endless time loop. You can explore the hotel on your own, interact with a variety of characters, learn skills, solve puzzles, complete tasks and collect items.
It is a pacifist roguelite with deckbuilding elements. This means there is no combat, battles and weapons, but your avatar can "die" and wake up the next morning of the same day to start over again. Your progress will still be there, though. Also, you can only carry around a limited amount of items, so you have to choose which ones you need to solve problems, make progress or help NPCs.

Who made it? Who is the publisher?

Me, pixlerin, as a solo developer. I create all the graphics, animations, sounds and I write code. I will also publish the game myself.
The game is made with Godot and the development process started on August 2022.

Can I support the game development process? Do you need help with programming, sound, music, etc.?

At the moment, I would love to get some tips and tricks on marketing and publishing a game myself. But that's it for now, I'm afraid. I'm considering getting help when I have enough material and gameplay to work with.
